Transitional Housing Program (THP) is a two-year program designed to assist domestic violence or sexual assault victims and their children in learning independent living skills to become self-sufficient .The Transitional Housing Program has 6 on-site apartments that allow housing for up to 25 women and children .
Residents of the program develop a Goal Plan specified to individual needs in order to be successful at Transitional Housing. Each resident is provided with a Program Coordinator and Life Skills Coach to address independent living skills, case management or program needs.

Life Skills Program
The Life Skills Program is designed to assist the residents of the Transitional Housing Program setting goals for themselves and obtaining social support outside of the program based on their individual needs. With the help of the Life Skills Coach the residents work towards reaching their goals and becoming self sufficient. The Life Skills Coach meets with each resident individually and provides resources to assist them. Life Skills group meetings are held bi-weekly. These meetings will often have guest speakers from various community groups to provide additional resources to our residents. In addition to meeting with the Life Skills Coach, residents are also required to attend bi-weekly group sessions with a licensed counselor. Childcare accommodations are provided for the group meetings.

Transitional Housing offers bi-weekly counseling groups facilitated by a licensed counselor. Counseling groups address a variety of topics including moving beyond a victim of domestic violence and maintaining healthy relationships.
